- Pepperoni– Diced
- Veggies– Minced carrots, minced celery, and finely diced yellow onions
- Garlic– Minced
- Tomatoes– Ripe diced tomatoes and their juices
- Seasonings– Dried oregano, dried basil, dried parsley, and ground thyme

- Broth– Chicken broth
How to Make
Making this Olive Garden copycat three meat pasta sauce is pretty easy.
To do it, cook the ground sausage and ground beef in a large Dutch oven until it is completely browned and crumbled.
Drain off all excess grease.
Add all of the vegetables, the diced pepperoni, and the herbs to the pot and stir everything together to evenly combine.
Then stir in the broth and the tomato paste.
Bring the sauce mixture to a boil, then immediately reduce the heat to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, for 45-60 minutes.
Serve warm with your favorite cooked pasta.
Enjoy!
Storing Leftovers
Store leftover sauce separately from any pasta in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Reheat it in the microwave or stovetop until warmed through.
Tips and Tricks
- If the sauce cooks down too much you can add more broth, or even water, to thin it out a bit.
- This sauce can also be made in a slow cooker- just cook the beef and sausage, then add all of the ingredients, stir them together, and cook on LOW for 5-6 hours.
- The mixture will seem dry at first, but as the vegetables cook down it will become saucier.
