  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 6 oz box chicken stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup butter melted

Instructions

  • Add both soups, milk, salt and pepper to a mixing bowl and whisk together until evenly combined.
1 10.5 oz can cream of celery soup, 1 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup, 1/2 cup milk, salt & pepper
  • Spoon a bit of the soup mixture into the bowl of your slow cooker and spread out just enough to cover the bottom.
  • Add the chicken to the slow cooker, then top it with a layer of the sliced ham followed by the sliced Swiss cheese.
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, 8 slices deli ham, 8 slices Swiss cheese
  • Pour the rest of the soup mixture evenly out overtop of the prepared chicken, the sprinkle the stuffing mix evenly out overtop.
1 6 oz box chicken stuffing mix
  • Drizzle the melted butter evenly out overtop the stuffing mix.
    1/2 cup butter
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours, or HIGH for 4.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Don't use too much salt. There is salt in the soup, stuffing, and ham.
  • The sauce will thicken as it cools. It may thicken a lot in the fridge. If you find it has thickened too much in the fridge, thin it with a little milk.
  • You don't need a side dish with it since you are using stuffing mix in the dish but it does pair nicely with any steamed veggie or good rolls for enjoying every last bit of the sauce.
