What is a California club?
A California club sandwich or wrap is a variation on the classic club sandwich, which features chicken or turkey with mayo, lettuce, tomato, and bacon.
“California” just means that it has avocado.
This particular wrap also has creamy ranch dressing instead of mayo.
Ingredients
To make these you’ll need:
- Tortillas– Large flour tortillas.
- Breaded chicken tenders– Cooked according to package directions.
- Bacon– Thick cut slices, cooked nice and crispy.
- Veggies– Shredded romaine lettuce and thinly sliced roma tomatoes.
- Avocado– Peeled, pitted, and sliced.
- Ranch dressing– Your favorite creamy style ranch dressing.
How to Make
These California chicken club wraps are so easy!
Just lay the tortillas out flat on a large cutting board.
Then add spread a quarter of the ranch dressing out in an even layer on one tortilla making sure it doesn’t go all the way to the edges.
Add one quarter of the shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes along with 2 slices of the bacon and 2 cooked, cooled pieces of chicken to the center of the tortilla.
Top the chicken with 1/4 of the sliced avocado.
Wrap the filled tortilla up like a burrito, making sure to tuck the sides in before rolling it up.
Repeat this with each tortilla.
Slice each wrap in half, serve, and enjoy!
Storing leftovers
I don’t recommend planning for leftovers of these wraps because the avocado will get sad and the wrap may get sort of soggy.
If you do have leftovers, wrap them tightly in foil or plastic wrap and refrigerate them for up to a day.
