Cinnamon Toast Crunch treats are the answer to Rice Krispie treats for fans of the cinnamon cereal. Only 3 ingredients, no baking at all, and you’ve got a treat everyone will love!
Why should Rice Krispies have all the fun?
It doesn’t seem right that one of the most boring cereals you can eat regularly achieves glory through the addition of marshmallows and butter.
All the other cereals get slighted.
Why not get them in on the cereal treat action and use an infinitely superior cereal like Cinnamon Toast Crunch to make your treats.
Then you’ve got Cinnamon Toast Crunch treats, which are basically Rice Krispie treats with a major cereal upgrade!
Ingredients
To make these you’ll need:
- Cinnamon Toast Crunch– A full 18.8 ounce box, which is the family sized box.
- Mini Marshmallows– Two 10 ounce bags.
- Butter– A full half cup or 1 stick
How to Make
Just like Rice Krispie treats, Cinnamon Crunch Toast treats are so easy to make!
Just spray a 9×13 baking dish with nonstick spray.
Set the prepared dish aside.
Then cut the butter into rough tablespoon pieces and add the butter pieces with the marshmallows to an an extra large, microwave safe mixing bowl.
Microwave for about 2 and a half minutes or until the marshmallows puff up to the top of the bowl.
Then carefully take the bowl out of the microwave and stir until the marshmallows and butter are smoothly combined.
Pour the Cinnamon Toast Crunch into the marshmallow mixture and quickly stir to coat all the cereal.
Spread the cereal mixture out into the sprayed pan, pressing it down evenly.
Let the mixture rest until set.
Slice into squares and enjoy!
Storing
Store the cut cereal squares in an airtight container on the counter for 3 days or so.
Do not refrigerate the treats or they will get soggy.
Tips and Tricks
- If you are concerned you don’t have a big enough bowl, make half the recipe at a time and layer it on top of each other. It will turn out the same.
- Still see pieces of unmelted butter after you microwave the butter and marshmallow mixture? Pop it back in the microwave for 10 more seconds, and stir again. Repeat this until the butter and marshmallows are smoothly melted.
- It makes it easier to transfer the treats to a baking dish if you spray your utensils or your hands with nonstick spray first.

Cinnamon Toast Crunch Treats

- Remove and stir until no chunks of butter or marshmallow are visible. If you have some chunks after stirring, simply return it to the microwave for 10 seconds at a time until smooth.

- Place the cereal and marshmallow mixture into the pan and press even. I tend to spray one of my hands with the nonstick spray to make this step easier and quicker.
- Let the treats rest for 1 hour or until set. Cut and enjoy!
