Crescent Roll French Dips
Crescent roll French dips are an easy, family friendly dinner made with just 4 ingredients and full of cozy comfort food flavor, perfect for busy weeknights. We’re talking cheesy, buttery, beefy little pockets of goodness on your table in less than half an hour!

Winter days after the holiday season sort of feel like a long, slow slog towards spring.
Especially if you have kids.
The holiday hustle might slow but kids mean practice, rehearsals, and homework after school.
And that means you probably feel like you run your own chauffeur service or are a walking, talking web browser.
Sometimes both at the same time.
On these gray days, dinner needs to happen fast and it really helps if it is a dinner that makes you feel good.
You know, not just a yummy one, but something that feels like it brightens the endless winter days just a bit.
Well, friends, these crescent roll French dips are just the thing you want.

They only use four ingredients, which means you can throw them together without a long grocery list or a lot of prep.
You just roll everything up in crescent dough, bake until golden and melty, and warm up the au jus for dipping while they cook.
The result is an ooey, gooey, cheesy, buttery little package just begging to be dunked in gravy.
And any dinner that is dunkable is ultimately ten times more fun and a hundred times more delicious.
This one also happens to be quick and easy, making it perfect for even the busiest days.

Ingredients
To make these you’ll need:
- Crescent roll dough– 2 8 ounce tubes of the refrigerated dough
- Roast beef– Thinly sliced deli roast beef
- Provolone cheese– 16 slices
- Gravy mix– 1 ounce package of au jus mix or Homemade Brown Gravy Mix

How to Make
These French dip crescent rolls are so easy to make.
Just pop open the crescent dough tubes and unroll and separate the dough onto a large baking sheet you’ve sprayed with nonstick spray.
Then add a slice of roast beef and a torn in half slice of cheese to each dough triangle.
Starting from the wide end, roll the crescent roll dough up and place it seem side down on the baking sheet.
Repeat this with each roll.
Bake the crescent rolls at 375 for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
While the crescent rolls bake, make the gravy according to the package instructions.
Once the rolls are done, take them out of the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
Serve and enjoy!

Storing
Store these tightly wrapped in the fridge or in an air tight container for up to 4 days.
Reheat them in a hot oven or in an air fryer until the rolls are warmed through and the cheese has remelted.

Tips and Tricks
- For a little kick spread the crescent roll dough with a bit of creamy horseradish sauce before adding the meat and cheese.
- You can really use any kind of cheese you like though provolone is traditional. Smoked provolone or extra sharp would work and add extra flavor.
- To take it up another notch, brush these with some melted garlic butter just before serving.
