No, I don’t think there is.

Let me tell you, I love Boursin cheese for any thing where melted creamy cheese is required.

It’s creamy and adds tons of flavors to anything you add it to like Creamy Scalloped Potatoes With Boursin Cheese.

And this, my friends, is breaded melted cheese at its dippable, spreadable finest.

Crispy baked Boursin cheese features your favorite flavor of cheese spread dredged in flour and breadcrumbs and baked to beautiful perfection.

The result is the easiest appetizer ever that everyone who tries it will love!

Ingredients

To make this you’ll need:

  • Boursin cheese– A 5.2 ounce package in any flavor.
  • Flour– All purpose. Enough to dredge the cheese into
  • Egg– 1 beaten egg
  • Breadcrumbs– You must use panko. No other variety will work!
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make

Crispy baked Boursin cheese is so easy to make!

Just set up a dredging station with 3 separate small mixing bowls.

Add flour to the first bowl, the beaten egg to the second, and panko breadcrumbs seasoned with salt and pepper to taste to the third.

Then take the cheese out of the package.

Dunk the cheese in the flour, turning it around in the flour to coat it on all sides.

Tap off any excess flour.

Next dunk the flour coated cheese in the egg, turning it so it coats the cheese.

Let any excess egg drip off.

Finally, dredge the coated cheese in the panko mixture, turning it to coat and pressing the breadcrumbs into the cheese if needed.

Put the breaded cheese on a baking sheet.

Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy outside.

Serve warm with your favorite dipping options.

Storing Leftovers

I don’t recommend saving leftovers of this appetizer.

They do not store and reheat well.

Tips and Tricks

  • While you may be tempted to freeze this first, there’s no need. It will hold it’s shape just fine when baked.
  • Can’t use egg? Substitute heavy cream instead.
  • Make sure every layer completely coats all sides of the cheese.
  • For easy clean up, line the baking dish with foil and spray it with nonstick spray.

Ingredients

  • 1 5.2 oz pkg boursin cheese any flavor
  • flour
  • panko bread crumbs only panko bread crumbs will work
  • 1 egg beaten
  • salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Set out three small mixing bowls. To one add the flour, to another add the beaten egg, and to the third add the panko bread crumbs and salt & pepper.

  • Remove the cheese from it's packaging, then add it to the flour turning it to coat on all sides. Tap off any excess.

  • Add the cheese to the egg, turning to coat completely. Let the excess drip off then add it to the panko mixture. Turn it to evenly coat on all sides, pressing in the coating in if needed. Transfer to a baking sheet.
  • Bake at 400° for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy outside.
  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping options.
