Ingredients

To make this you’ll need:

  • Pork and beans– A 55 ounce can of your favorite variety of pork and beans.
  • Minced yellow onion– This is optional
  • Condiments– Ketchup and yellow mustard
  • Sugar– Brown
  • Hotdogs– Thinly sliced

How to Make

Grandma’s hotdogs and beans casserole is super easy to make!

Just stir all of the ingredients except the hot dogs together in a large mixing bowl.

Then stir in the sliced hot dogs.

Transfer the mixture in an even layer into a 9×13″ baking dish you’ve sprayed liberally with nonstick spray.

Bake the casserole, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until the mixture is hot and the liquid has reduced and thickened.

Serve warm and enjoy!

Storing Leftovers

Store leftovers tightly covered in the baking dish or in an airtight container.

Refrigerate them for up to 5 days.

Reheat in the microwave or in a hot oven until warmed through.

Ingredients

  • 1 55 oz can pork and beans
  • 1/4 cup minced yellow onion optional
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/2 packed cup brown sugar
  • 8-10 cooked hotdogs thinly sliced

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients, except the hot dogs, to a large mixing bowl. Stir together until evenly combined.

  • Add the hot dogs to the mixing bowls, stirring them in until evenly incorporated.
