Ingredients Needed
Like all our favorite recipes, these cheesy ham crescent rolls have a short ingredient list.
You’ll need:
- Crescent Rolls – An 8 ounce tube of refrigerated crescent roll dough
- Ham – 16 thin slices of your favorite flavor of ham
- Cheese – Shredded Swiss cheese
- Butter – Salted or unsalted both work here
- Seasonings – Garlic powder and dried parsley
Once you’ve gathered all your ingredients you’re ready to begin!
How To Make
Making ham and cheese crescent rolls is super simple.
Start by unrolling the crescent roll dough and separating it into 8 distinct triangles, and arrange them on a parchment paper lined large rimmed baking sheet.
Divide the mustard evenly between the triangles and spread it out in an even layer. Divide the ham evenly out among the triangles, tearing it as needed, to make it fit on top.
Sprinkle the cheese evenly out overtop of each triangle then, starting with the wider end, roll them up tightly and press the little tip down to ‘seal’ the crescent rolls closed.
Whisk the melted butter and seasonings together in a small bowl until evenly combined. Brush this mixture overtop of all the crescent rolls.
Bake at 350F for 15-18 minutes, just until cooked through and the crescent rolls are golden brown on top.
Serve warm & enjoy!
Storing
Leftover crescent rolls can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Because of this these can also be prepped on the weekend, and pulled out for an easy grab and go breakfast or lunch on busy weekday morning.
TIPS & TRICKS
- Use your favorite brand and flavor of ham for this recipe; however, make sure it’s thin so that the rolls roll up and close properly. It’s also a great way to use up leftover holiday ham.
- Shredded Swiss is recommended, but gruyere will also work. If you prefer a different cheese both shredded cheddar and mozzarella will work.
- These crescent rolls can be made ahead of time and reheated as needed making them perfect for a grab and go breakfast or lunch option.
