Storing Leftovers

Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to a week.

Can I make this ahead of time?

Yes! In fact if you make it ahead of time, it really lets the flavors of the herbs meld into the cream cheese.

Just refrigerate it until about half an hour prior to serving.

Before serving, let it sit out on the counter to soften so it’s easier to spread.

Tips and Tricks

  • Don’t skip letting the cream cheese soften to room temperature! It will be much easier to mix.
  • You can vary your herbs to suit your tastes or make a similar spread with different combinations like chopped cilantro and lime zest or basil and garlic.
  • Feel free to add a bit of salt and pepper to this.
