The quickest way for me to add a little fancy to our table is definitely by using flavored spreads and butters.

You know the kind you’d see on the table when you go out for a fancy brunch?

That’s what I’m talking about and you can do that right at home with just 3 ingredients and 5 minutes of your time!

This strawberry butter recipe creates a luscious spread exactly like you’d see at a fancy brunch restaurant right at home that will help you make occasions like Mother’s Day feel extra special.

Ingredients

To make this you’ll need:

  • Butter– Let it come to room temperature on your counter first.
  • Sugar– Powdered
  • Strawberries– Cut the stems off.

How to Make

Making this strawberry butter recipe is easy!

To do it, chop the strawberries and and them to the bowl of a food processor fitted with the blade attachments.

Pulse the food processor a few times to puree the berries.

In a separate bowl, whip the butter and powdered sugar together with a hand mixer until combined.

Fold the strawberries into the butter mixture until well combined.

Serve and enjoy!

Storing

Refrigerate this for up to 2 weeks in an an airtight container.

You can also freeze this is a freezer safe container or ziplocking freezer bag  for up to 3 months.

Tips and Tricks

  • This recipe makes 16 oz of strawberry butter.
  • Adjust the amount of strawberries you use based on the size of the berries. If you have large strawberries, use only 2 or 3, whereas if you have small to average size berries up to 4 or even 5.
  • You can substitute the strawberries for any fresh berries. Raspberries or blueberries would also make a delicious flavored spread.
