  • Little Bites Strawberry Yogurt Muffins– These are the muffins that are sold in a box of pouches. You may be able to substitute another variety of Little Bites like chocolate chip or birthday cake muffins but I am not aware of another brand that sells mini muffins in pouches.
  • Strawberry pie filling– A 21 ounce can.
  • Whipped topping– You can either use a thawed tub of Cool Whip or a can of whipped cream.
  • Strawberry slices– For garnish.

How to Make

These walking strawberry shortcake desserts are super easy to make- no baking needed!

Storing Leftovers

These don’t make great leftovers so only make what you will eat.

Store any leftover strawberry pie filling in an airtight container in the fridge.

Tips and Tricks

  • Don’t make them ahead of time. They will get soggy if they sit too long.
  • You could make a build your own walking strawberry shortcake bar, setting out the ingredients in different stations, and letting your guests or kids assemble their own.
  • If I’m not using Reddi Whip and using a tub of whipped topping, I like to scoop the whipped topping into a frosting bag with a tip and pipe the frosting onto each so it’s less messy.
