Do you have a hard time getting your family – or heck even yourself – to eat veggies?

Here’s the trick!

Roast them.

Any vegetable, included asparagus tastes so much better, roasted.

Roasting the veggies brings out the natural sugars in vegetables and caramelizes them.

This mellows any bitter flavors the vegetable may have raw or boiled and turns them into tasty additions to any meal.

And you can make air fryer roasted asparagus in a fraction of the time that it would take to roast the asparagus in the oven.

Tips and Tricks

  • Smaller, thinner young asparagus will cook more quickly and also be more tender. Thicker asparagus stalks tend to be tougher and take longer to fry.
  • When the asparagus is done, the stalks should be tender and the ends should be crispy and golden.
  • Fancy it up with a garnish of nuts, shredded parmesan, and/or fresh herbs.
