Ingredients

To make this you’ll need:

  • Pork loin– Look for one that is about 3 pounds.
  • Onion– A large yellow onion, peeled and thinly sliced.
  • Apple pie filling– A 21 ounce can.
  • Mustard– Yellow mustard.
  • Worcestershire sauce– For that salty umami flavor.
  • Sugar– Brown.

How to Make

This slow cooker apple pie pork loin is so easy!

Just spread the sliced onions out in an even layer in the bowl of a slow cooker.

Put the pork loin in the center of the slow cooker bowl so it rests directly on top of the onions.

Stir the remaining ingredients together in a small bowl until they are evenly combined.

Pour the apple mixture overtop of the pork loin to cover.

Cover and cook on LOW for 7-8 hours, or HIGH for 4 hours or until the pork is 145° and very tender.

Carefully transfer the hot to a cutting board and cut it into thin slices.

Serve the pork warm with some of the apple and onion mixture spooned overtop.

Storing Leftovers

Store leftovers in the covered bowl of your slow cooker or an air tight container in the fridge for 3 to 4 days.

Reheat it in the slow cooker or oven until the pork is hot all the way through.

Freezing

To freeze this, let the pork cool and cut it. 

Transfer the cut pork into freezer safe ziplocking bags.

Freeze the pork for up to 3 months.

Defrost the pork overnight in the fridge before warming until the pork is hot throughout.

  • 1 3 lb pork loin
