How to Make
Homemade Beaver Nuggets are shockingly easy to make!
Just melt the butter to a large pot set over medium high heat.

Once the butter has melted, stir in the sugar and corn syrup until they are evenly combined into the butter.
Bring the mixture to a boil.

Once it boils, immediately reduce the heat to a simmer and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Remove the pot from the heat and whisk in the vanilla extract and baking soda.

Quickly add the Puffcorn to the pot, gently stirring until it’s all evenly coated in the caramel mixture.
Spread the coated Puffcorn out in an even layer on a parchment paper lined rimmed baking sheet.

Bake it at 250° for 30 minutes, gently stirring every 10 minutes.
Carefully remove the hot pan from the oven, and let the puffcorn cool completely.

Stir the snack occasionally so that it doesn’t all stick or clump together as it cools.
Once it’s cool, serve and enjoy or store for snacking later.

Storing
Let them cool completely prior too storing so they don’t stick together and stay crisp.
Once they are cool, transfer them to an airtight container and keep it on the counter for up to a week.
Do not refrigerate this snack.

Tips and Tricks
- Be sure to stir as gently as possible when coating the puffcorn in the syrup because it will want to break apart easily.
