These cute Cosmic brownie bats are adorable and easy to make.
Plus they use wrapped brownies so they will be school friendly if your school doesn’t let your kids have homemade treats.
And for all the parents out there that don’t like baking, there is no baking involved!
Just a little craftiness and boom- Cosmic brownie bats for Halloween!
Ingredients and Materials
To make these you’ll need:
- Cosmic brownies– In the wrappers
- Craft supplies– Googly eyes, black construction paper, scissors and hot glue
How to Make
Making Cosmic brownie bats is so easy!
To do it, start by tracing bat wings on the black construction paper.
Cut them out with the scissors.
Hot glue the wings to the top of the wrapped brownies.
Then glue two wings to the back of the brownies.
Repeat until you have made all the bats that you need.
Storing
Store this Cosmic brownie bats on the counter, out of direct heat.
You can make these several days ahead of time and will stay good since the brownies never get unwrapped.
Tips and Tricks
- It’s ok- even preferred- if the wings aren’t perfect! Having the wings have imperfections can help add to the Halloween vibe.
- You can switch up the construction paper colors and use purple or even orange too.
- Have a little fun with the eyes. At craft stores, you can often find craft eyes in different sizes and colors. You could mix and match on the bat brownies for that really silly Halloween monster bat feel.
- The only consideration for storing these is to keep them out of direct heat. Extreme heat can melt the hot glue and cause the wings and eyes to fall off.

Jacqueline Taliercio says
The hot glue doesn’t melt the brownies/wrapper?
Meaghan says
It hasn’t whenever I’ve made them, but it’s literally just a dot.
