Quick & Easy Strawberry Lemonade

Quick and easy strawberry lemonade jazzes up store bought lemonade mix with sweet, fresh strawberries. You’ll love this refreshing drink all summer long.

One of our favorite activities to do in the beginning of summer is go strawberry picking.

And our other favorite activity?

Sitting outside enjoying every bit of warmth and sunshine we can with a nice cool beverage in hand.

This easy strawberry lemonade is the best way to enjoy the sweet summer berries and glorious warmth of the season!

Ingredients

To make this you’ll need:

  • Lemonade mix– Use your favorite store bought brand and make 2 quarts according to the directions on the package.
  • Strawberries– Some whole for garnish and some hulled.
  • Sugar– Optional but just to sweeten it up a bit more.
  • Lemon slices– For garnish, optional.

You’ll also need a muddling tool.

How to Make

To make this, pour about half a cup of lemonade into a glass.

Then add a handful of hulled strawberries into the glass and sugar if you are using it.

Muddle the fruit into the juice and pour the muddled mixture back into the pitcher of lemonade.

Repeat this until all the berries are incorporated.

Let it chill and then serve in glasses with ice.

Garnish with lemon slices and fresh berries if desired.

Enjoy!

Storing

Store the lemonade in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Tips and Tricks

  • Want to use another fresh berry instead? Feel free to switch it up and use raspberries, blackberries or blueberries instead.
  • The sugar is a totally to taste thing. We prefer our lemonade sweet, but if you prefer it on the tarter side, you may want to skip it.
  • You could do this with your favorite premade store bought lemonade or homemade lemonade as well.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts lemonade made with powdered mix & mixed according to package directions
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup sugar optional
  • lemon slices for garnish
  • whole strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  • Pour roughly 1/2 cup of lemonade into a glass.
  • Add a handful of berries into the glass plus some of the sugar.
  • Using your muddler, muddle the fruit into the juice. Pour this mixture back into the pitcher of lemonade.
  • Repeat, using lemonade from the same pitcher, until all the berries have been incorporated- using as much or as little sugar as desired.
  • Add ice to several glasses, then pour the strawberry lemonade into each.
  • Garnish with lemon slices and fresh berries, if desired.
  • Serve chilled.
