To make these you’ll need:

  • Chicken breasts– Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, trimmed of excess fat
  • Seasoning– Salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder
  • Garlic– Minced
  • Garlic parmesan sauce– Your favorite kind
  • Chicken broth– You could use stock instead
  • Cream cheese– Softened and cut into squares
  • Cheddar cheese– Shredded
  • Bacon– Cooked crispy for serving on the sandwiches
  • Buns

How to Make

These slow cooker garlic parmesan chicken sandwiches are a dream to make!

Just add the chicken to the bowl of the slow cooker after spraying it with nonstick spray.

Season the chicken with the salt, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and garlic.

Add the sauce and broth.

Put the lid on the slow cooker and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours.

After 4 to 6 hours, carefully transfer the chicken to a cutting board and shred it.

Put the shredded chicken back in the pot.

Stir in the cream cheese and cheddar cheese.

Put the lid back on and let it cook for another 15 minutes or until the cheese melts.

Serve on buns with bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts trimmed of fat
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 cup Parmesan garlic sauce
  • 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • 12 slices bacon cooked crisp (for serving)
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened & cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • buns for serving

Instructions

  • Spray the inside of the bowl of a slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. Add the chicken to the bowl in an even layer.
    1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Sprinkle the seasonings evenly out over the chicken followed by the minced garlic, sauce, and broth.
    1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 1/2 tbsp minced garlic, 1 cup Parmesan garlic sauce, 1/3 cup chicken broth
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours.
  • Using tongs transfer the hot chicken to a large cutting board and carefully shred, then return the chicken to the pot.
  • Add the cream cheese and cheddar cheese to the pot then stir to combine. Cover and continue cooking for another 15 minutes. Stir again until evenly combined.
    4 oz cream cheese, 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Serve on buns with slices of crispy bacon and enjoy!
