Easy 5 Minute Pizza Sauce Recipe
This 5 minute pizza sauce is quick, simple, and made with basic pantry ingredients. It’s a lifesaver if you forget to buy premade sauce from the store, and it tastes much better too!

Homemade pizza sauce doesn’t have to be complicated or time consuming to be good.
This 5 minute pizza sauce comes together fast, using just a can of tomato sauce, a can of tomato paste and some seasonings.
Just stir it together and you’re ready to go!
No simmering needed and you have a quick and easy pizza sauce perfect for spreading on pizza dough, flatbreads, tortillas, or anything else you like!

Ingredients
To make this you’ll need:
- Tomato sauce– a 15 ounce can of plain tomato sauce
- Tomato paste– a 6 ounce can of tomato paste to give the sauce richness and body
- Garlic– Minced. If you want to save time you can use jarred minced garlic or even substitute garlic powder though that will change the flavor slightly.
- Dried spices– Oregano, basil, salt, and pepper
- Sugar– A pinch of granulated sugar to cut the acidity

How to Make
This 5 minute pizza sauce is so easy, there’s no cooking required!

Just stir all the ingredients together in a bowl and you are ready to go.

Heat it in a small sauce pan if you are using it to dip mozzarella sticks or garlic knots into, but it’s not necessary for any recipe you’ll bake in an oven, like a pizza.
