Tips and Tricks

  • Do not add green food coloring to white chocolate chips or candy coating. It will seize up and you will be unable to use it.  Candy melts can be found in some local grocery stores, craft stores and online.
  • Chocolate and candy melts can scorch easily. Make sure you do not over cook them.
  • Candy melts set quickly especially on chilled dough. Work quickly and in small batches to ensure time to place the sprinkles before it sets up.
