Have you ever wanted the taste of a fluffy, frosted sugar cookie but didn’t want to actually bake any cookies?

I can’t tell you how many times this has happened to me.

Luckily, with this easy sugar cookie dip- I can get the sweet flavor I’m craving with minimal effort.

That’s always a sweet win in my recipe book.

Ingredients Needed

Making this easy dessert dip only requires 3 ingredients.

Just THREE!

You’ll need:

  • Cookie Mix – You’ll need one cup of dry sugar cookie mix. Any variety will work, but it’s needs to be plain- not flavored and without mix-ins.
  • Cream Cheese – An eight ounce block of cream cheese, softened to room temperature.
  • Creamer – Vanilla coffee creamer, for flavoring. If you can find the seasonal sugar cookie coffee creamer, that’s even better!
  • Garnish – Use whatever sprinkles you have on hand as a garnish, or themed sprinkles to fit the occasion.

How To Make

Making sugar cookie dip is quick and easy.

Start by adding all of the dip ingredients to a mixing bowl.

Using a hand mixer, whip the ingredients together until they come together into a smooth & creamy, fluffy mixture.

Transfer the whipped cookie dip to a serving bowl of choice.

Garnish the dip with sprinkles to fit your preference.

Serve with different dipping options of your choosing, and enjoy!

Dipping Options

So many different things pair perfectly with this delicious sugar cookie dip.

We will list our favorites, but feel free to experiment.

I do suggest serving this dip with a variety of options for dipping, if possible.

Our favorites include:

  • Gingerbread Cookies
  • Nilla Wafers
  • Pretzel Chips
  • Graham Crackers
  • Cubed Pieces of Pound Cake
  • Fresh Fruit- especially strawberries, grapes, and sliced apples
  • Oreo Cookies
  • Waffle Cone Pieces

Use whatever combination you think you and your guests will most enjoy.

Storing

Leftover sugar cookie dip can be covered tightly with plastic wrap, and refrigerated for up to 24 hours.

Just uncover, re-fluff, and enjoy again.

It can also be made the night before (without the garnishes), covered, and refrigerated until ready to serve. Again for up to 24 hours.

Add your sprinkles just before serving.

This dip DOES NOT freeze well.

TIPS & TRICKS

  • You’re going to want to whip this dip together with a hand mixer. You could also use a stand mixer, or even a food processor. I don’t recommend trying to do it by hand.
  • Change up the sprinkles and colors to fit your occasion. Pretty much any sprinkle should work EXCEPT nonpareils. Those will bleed into the dip almost immediately.
  • Want to add a little something extra to take it over the top? In addition to sprinkles, add crushed ginger snaps or sugar cookies to the dip before serving.
