Candy cane dip tastes just like peppermint cheesecake but is so much easier to make! Everyone will love dunking their favorite dippers into this fluffy, minty dessert dip!
This time of year it seems like there is an event almost every weekend.
Of course if I’m hosting, I provide most of the food even if we do it potluck style.
But if I’m going to someone else’s party, you can bet it’s against my Southern roots to show up empty handed!
So I like to whip up an easy dessert that I can take to any potluck or party and this candy cane dip sure fits the bill!
You only need a few minutes of prep and a few ingredients and you’ve got a festive dessert that everyone will love.
Ingredients
To make this you’ll need:
- Cream cheese– Softened to room temperature
- Sweetened condensed milk– A 14 ounce can
- Peppermint extract– For that candy cane flavor. You can buy this in the baking aisle near the vanilla extract.
- Vanilla extract– Real is always best!
- Whipped topping– Like Cool Whip and not the kind in a can. Let it thaw.
- Candy canes– Crushed for garnish
How to Make
This candy cane dip is such an easy, no bake dessert!
Just whip the cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk together in a mixing bowl with a hand mixer until they are smooth and creamy.
Then beat in both the peppermint extract and the vanilla extract.
Fold in the thawed whipped topping with a spatula.
Scoop the dip into a serving bowl and top it with a sprinkle of crushed candy cane pieces.
Serve with your favorite dipping options and enjoy!
