Garlic Parmesan Ramen Noodles
Garlic parmesan ramen noodles turn an inexpensive package of instant ramen into a rich, buttery side dish or quick meal that’s ready in minutes. This easy recipe is perfect when you need a comforting meal without spending much time or money.

Ramen noodles aren’t just for easy microwave meals and college dorms.
They are one of those pantry staples that always seem to come in handy, especially on busy nights.
And I’m really glad they are having their moment in the sun because they are good for so many things.
For example, this garlic Parmesan version takes those humble noodles to the next level with a few simple ingredients you probably already have.
And this inexpensive dish tastes like a million bucks.

The butter, garlic, and Parmesan create a rich, creamy sauce that coats every bite and gives the noodles a satisfying comfort food flavor.
It’s definitely hearty enough to serve on its own but it also works as a side dish for any protein.
And, you can also customize it with cooked chicken, shrimp, bacon, broccoli, peas, or mushrooms to sneak in some protein or veggies.

Ingredients
To make this you’ll need:
- Ramen noodles– 2 packets. Discard the seasoning packets.
- Butter
- Garlic– Crushed or minced.
- Seasonings– Crush red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
- Parmesan– Grated.
- Pasta water– Save some from cooking the ramen.

How to Make
These garlic parmesan ramen noodles are so easy!
Just cook the noodles in a pot of boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
Set aside two tablespoons of pasta water and then drain the rest and set the noodles aside.
Then melt the butter in a large skillet set over medium heat.
Once the butter has melted, add the garlic and red pepper flakes and let the garlic cook for 30 seconds or until it’s fragrant, stirring the whole time.
Add the ramen noodles and reserved pasta water to the skillet, tossing it with the garlic butter until the noodles are well coated.
Immediately remove the skillet from heat
Stir in the cheese until everything is melted and creamy.
Season it with salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve immediately and enjoy!

Storing Leftovers
Store leftovers in an airtight container for 4 days.
Reheat in the microwave until warmed through, adding another pat of butter if needed.

Tips and Tricks
- To reserve the pasta water, just ladle a scoop into a separate bowl. It will have a chance to cool enough for you to measure it out while the butter and garlic cook.
- This is very customizable! Add grilled or rotisserie chicken, steamed broccoli, canned peas, or mushrooms for a little extra something in this.
- Don’t overcook the pasta. You want it just done but not mushy.
